Are you a warm and caring individual that’s looking for a rewarding and flexible role? Then we have the job for you!
We’re recruiting for a senior support worker to join this service which is home to five clients, three of which are wheelchair users. The clients need support with daily living, including personal care and eating/drinking. The property is an adapted house in Portslade with bus and train services within a short walking distance. The clients each have their own bedroom and access to communal areas.
The role of Senior Support Worker involves role modelling good practice to the team and supporting staff to maintain consistently high standards of service delivery. Ideally you should have significant experience of supporting people with ASC, learning and physical disabilities.
Southdown is an established charitable organisation, we’re proud to say we’re in our 50th year of supporting people across Sussex. We’re a local employer with an excellent reputation, we value our people highly and invest in them to deliver the best support to our clients.
In return for joining us, we can offer you a Blue Light Card, Health Care Cash Back Scheme, local and national discounts, £100 reward for passing your probationary period and a supportive working environment. You don’t need any previous experience as we’ll provide you with all the training you’ll need to succeed.
