If you’d like a job facilitating reflective practice so that staff, managers and teams can develop their awareness, practice and self-care, we have the job for you.
This is a new post and reflects our commitment to psychologically and trauma informed approaches, as well as staff well-being and development.
You will be facilitating regular reflective practice groups for staff and managers, and reflective sessions after incidents or difficult times. You will play a key role in developing different models of reflective practice to meet the needs of Southdown’s diverse services.
If you have experience working in community services, and great facilitation skills, we’d love to hear from you. Our role is to promote independence and choice for our clients. We provide 24-hour support and have a rolling rota, you’ll know your shift pattern well in advance.
No two days are the same at Windebanks; one day you may be at home taking part in art and crafts, the next day could be a trip to the theatre. The clients enjoy being busy, involved in activities and trying new things. They also like to spend time together having BBQs, pamper sessions and karaoke nights. The service has a warm, family feel and is located on a bus route, 15 minutes walk from the town centre.

You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to ensure individual's support needs are identified and addressed in a holistic manner. The successful candidate will have a flexible and dynamic approach to working with people who may present with complex needs, having experienced trauma and homelessness.
Full training and induction will be provided for all successful candidates
